I saw a few different blog posts about this brass tiered pendant shade from Urban Outfitters over the past week and I love it! It's inexpensive, perfect for just about any room in my house, and especially great for renters because it isn't hard-wired. So I ordered two!
Problem is, my husband hates it! I'm convinced he'll change his mind when he sees that it won't make our house look like the 70s.
What do you think--awesome? Awful?

Awesome. My hubs is the same way, it's hard for him to see the potential. I'm sure once you get it in place, he'll like it. If not...oh well!
Hopefully, he will give it a chance. My husband nixes a lot of things too...but you're a designer, so he should trust you. :)

I know what ya mean. My husband hates just about everything I love. It took him 6 months to appreciate the giant map in our living room.

I'd love to see it in person-I get dissapointed when items seem awesome online, but they arrive and look cheap in real life. Love to see what it looks like in your space!
Josh is the same way, likes the pictures of brass kitchens and what not but is way hesitant to actually do it b/c he thinks its way too much of a fad.
